Welcome to the Web Site of the South Alabama Riders Association, a non profit, non bike specific club.
We are currently in the building phase of our organization, but would love to have you join us.
Positions are available if anyone so desires to be an officer of this association.

SARA was born 11/1/05.
Why SARA?
South Alabama Riders Association was founded by me, Robert John Steiner (Bob), as a family oriented, non-profit, non-bike specific association. We ride for those less fortunate than ourselves when we can. We want to support our local charities and non profit groups (South Alabama) as much as our finances will allow. I just felt the need to help in anyway I can and I hope you do too. That doesn't mean we don't support national events as well, and it doesn't mean we don't go on joy rides. What's a joy ride? Jump on your scooter to go to a friends house around the block and take three hours to get there. That's a joy ride. I can't begin to tell you how alive I feel when I'm out with my friends tooling down the highway.
I've been unable to have a scooter for a while, but I'm finally back in the saddle and I'm a new person.

You can belong to any other organization you want to and still be a member of SARA. We are a non political association. You do not have to wear the SARA patch, that is your preference.
